Bella Bottoms offer a full line of products. Most moms use a variety of diapers depending on baby's needs. For example, many moms love pocket diapers during the day but find a fitted diaper with a cover is best for night time. Bella Bottoms were actually originally designed for my Bella, who was a heavy wetter with really explosive poo! For her, it was one-size fitted diapers with a cover day and night. When Emma came along, any old thing would do. Sarah had sensitive skin, so our favorite for her was the stay-dry pocket diaper.
How should you launder Bella Bottoms? Here's how to keep your Bella Bottoms clean, fresh, and long-lasting.
Shake any solid poo into the toilet. Generally, there's no need to dunk your diapers. If you are using Incredibellas pocket diapers, you may wish to remove the insert, but they are actually designed to come out in the wash. Toss your wet/ soiled diapers into a diaper pail.
On wash day (every other day is recommended) dump your whole pail of diapers into the washing machine. Run them through a cold rinse.
After rinsing, add detergent. Use only half the recommended amount for top loading machines and one quarter for front loading machines. Wash your diapers in hot water, up to 120 degrees. Rinse normally. Here are a couple more pointers:
******Use detergents, NOT "natural soaps." Additive free detergents are best.
******Do NOT add vinegar or baking soda when washing AIOs or pocket diapers. They will cause the laminate to break down.
******NEVER use bleach or fabric softeners!
Tumble dry your diapers on medium heat or line dry. Do NOT use high heat for covers or pocket diapers. Pocket diapers and covers dry very quickly, and you can line or air dry them in no time.
